We regret to inform you that Camp Don Bosco is closing after many years serving the Rockland County area. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents, campers and staff who have been so dedicated to our camp over the years. In particular, I would like to thank Kevin Metcalf, Camp Director who has been involved in the camp for 35 years, Christopher Roff who has been with our camp for 30 years, Tricia Moore who has been with us for 15 years, Amy Peterson, who has been with us for 7 years and Christopher Fallon who has been with us for 5 years. Please know that everything you have done for Camp Don Bosco has been greatly appreciated, you are all in our prayers and we ask you to stay in touch with our Salesian Community at the Marian Shrine.

Welcome to Camp Don Bosco!
Camp Don Bosco offers a co-ed recreational day camp as well as a sports camp for baseball and basketball. Located on the beautiful campus of the Marian Shrine in Stony Point, NY, campers will enjoy all that the property has to offer from a swimming pool, water area, indoor gym, to arcade games, outdoor activities and much more!

Our sports camp programs will help your child perform better, on the field or on the court, through various drills, training, and competitions. Our sports campers are also invited to attend our recreation camp on Friday at no extra charge.

Camp Don Bosco is operated by the Salesians of St. John Bosco, a Catholic religous order of brothers and priests dedicated to young people. All of our activites are under the vigilant care of counselors trained in Don Bosco's methods of youth work. Throughout each day, campers will be in an environment where teamwork, fair play and cooperation are stressed and demonstrated, and in an atmosphere of faith and religious values where they will grow closer to God and feel more part of his family.

Camp Don Bosco is a Summer Day Camp with a program of supervised, formative and recreational activities for a variety of interests. Nurturing our campers in the Salesian family environment, we strive to develop individuals who will become outstanding future leaders.
Extensive Grounds
With 163 beautiful acres of property, from a baseball field and basketball courts, to open grass areas and a swimming pool, Camp Don Bosco makes use of its campus to provide the campers with a fun and safe outdoor experience.
FOOD PROVIDED
Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided for all campers. The menu ranges from hamburgers or cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, pizza, pasta and macaroni & cheese. Chocolate milk and orange juice are also included with meals. Campers can bring their own lunch as well which will be kept refrigerated. Our camp canteen sells an assortment of snacks as well.
DEDICATED STAFF
Our staff consists of highly dedicated adults, and college and high school students, some being former campers. Using their formal training and talents are camp counselors, we are able to provide our campers the safest and most enjoyable experience available at any camp
